Phyllis has more than twenty years of experience in supporting individuals who are seeking personal empowerment and healing. She believes that it is important to live one’s life in balance mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically as much as possible. Phyllis’s calming and supportive presence assists clients in exploring issues, gaining clarity, finding solutions, and moving beyond personal blocks.
Phyllis, a licensed professional counselor, earned her master’s degree in psychological services at Marymount University. She received post-masters training through Virginia Tech’s Marriage and Family Program. She is a Diplomate, Comprehensive Energy Psychology and is currently continuing her study of Emotional Freedom Technique (“tapping”) Professional Skills through the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP). She offers both conventional and complementary therapy.
Phyllis has studied mind-body therapy, taken classes in various energy modalities and completed a massage therapy program. She has experience in working with clients in such areas as self-awareness, personal growth, grief, codependency, depression, anxiety, stress, and support on a spiritual journey. Phyllis offers a unique combination of personal experience, education, and training – all of which contribute to her ability to be of service to her clients.
